Indonesia called off until first light a search for an AirAsia plane
with 162 people on board that went missing on Sunday after pilots asked
to change course to avoid bad weather during a flight from Indonesia's
Surabaya city to Singapore.<br />
<br />
Indonesia AirAsia Flight QZ8501, an
Airbus 320-200 carrying 155 passengers and seven crew, lost contact with
Jakarta air traffic control at 6:17 a.m. (2317 GMT on Saturday). No
distress signal had been sent, said Joko Muryo Atmodjo, an Indonesian
transport ministry official.<br />
<br />
On board were 155 Indonesians, three
South Koreans and one each from Singapore, Malaysia and Britain, plus a
French pilot, the airline said in a statement, correcting earlier
information.<br />
<br />
Tatang Kurniadi, head of Indonesia's National
Committee of Safety Transportation, expressed hope of locating the
aircraft quickly and said it was too early to detect any of the
so-called electronic pings from its black box recorder.<br />
<br />
"We are
using our capacity to search on sea and land. Hopefully we can find the
location of the plane as soon as possible," he told a news conference.<br />
<br />
"What I need to emphasize is until now, we have not found out how the plane fell or what kind of emergency it was."<br />
<br />
Indonesia
AirAsia is 49 percent owned by Malaysia-based budget carrier AirAsia
(AIRA.KL), which has had a clean safety record since it began operating
13 years ago. The AirAsia group also has affiliates in Thailand, the
Philippines and India. The aircraft had accumulated approximately 23,000
flight hours in some 13,600 flights, according to Airbus (AIR.PA).<br />
<br />
The
pilots of QZ8501 "was requesting deviation due to en-route weather
before communication with the aircraft was lost," the airline said in a
statement. Singapore, Malaysia, Britain, South Korea and Australia
offered to help in the search and any investigation. Malaysia said it
was sending vessels and a C130 aircraft while Singapore had also sent a
C130. Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said a P3 Orion aircraft was
on standby if needed.<br />
<br />
ANXIOUS RELATIVES<br />
<br />
Flight QZ8501 was
between Tanjung Pandan on Indonesia's Belitung island and Pontianak, in
West Kalimantan province on Borneo - almost halfway between Surabaya
and Singapore - when it went missing. There was bad weather over
Belitung at the time and the aircraft had been flying at 32,000 feet
before asking to fly at 38,000 feet to avoid clouds.<br />
<br />
In both Surabaya and Singapore, anxious relatives of people on the plane awaited news.<br />
<br />
Louise Sidharta was at Singapore's Changi Airport waiting for her fiancée to return from a family holiday.<br />
<br />
"It was supposed to be their last vacation before we got married," she said.<br />
<br />
A man named Purnomo told TVOne in Surabaya of a lucky escape.<br />
<br />
"I
should have been on the flight," he said. "We, seven people, had
planned to go to Singapore for vacation but this morning I had an
emergency. I had my passport in hand."<br />
<br />
<br />
AirAsia swapped its distinctive bright red logo for a grey background on its website and social media accounts.<br />
<br />
The
incident comes during a troubled year for Malaysia-affiliated airlines.
Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 went missing on March 8 on a trip from
Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 passengers and crew on board and has
not been found.<br />
<br />
On July 17, Flight MH17 was shot down over Ukraine, killing all 298 people on board.<br />
<br />
Indonesia
AirAsia has a fleet of 30 Airbus A320s. The missing plane has been in
service for just over six years, according to airfleets.net.<br />
<br />
All
AirAsia-branded airlines operate aircraft made by Airbus, which has
orders for several hundred planes from the group. AirAsia is considered
one of the European planemaker's most important customers.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Cyclone Hudhud blasted India's eastern seaboard on Sunday with gusts of up to 195 kilometres an hour (over 120 mph), uprooting trees, damaging buildings and killing at least three people despite a major evacuation effort.<br />
<br />
The port city of Visakhapatnam, home to two million people and a major naval base, was hammered as the cyclone made landfall, unleashing the huge destructive force it had sucked up from the warm waters of the Bay of Bengal.<br />
<br />
Upended trees and wreckage were strewn across Visakhapatnam, known to locals as Vizag. Most people heeded warnings to take refuge, but three who ventured out were killed, officials said.<br />
<br />
The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, the state that bore the brunt of Hudhud's onslaught, said the extent of damage would only become known after the storm abates.<br />
<br />
"We are unable to ascertain the situation. Seventy percent of communication has totally collapsed ... this is the biggest calamity," N. Chandrababa Naidu told Headlines Today television.<br />
<br />
"We are asking people not to come out of their houses," Naidu said, adding that damage assessment would start on Monday. "We are mobilising men and material immediately."<br />
<br />
Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Naidu and promised "all possible assistance in relief and rescue operations", his central government said in a statement.<br />
<br />
The low toll reported so far followed an operation to evacuate more than 150,000 people to minimise the risk to life from Hudhud - similar in size and power to cyclone Phailin that struck the area exactly a year ago.<br />
<br />
After a lull as the eye of the storm passed over the city, winds regained massive potency. Forecasters warned Hudhud would blow strongly for several hours more, before wind speeds halve in the evening.<br />
<br />
"Reverse windflow will be experienced by the city, which will again have a very great damage potential," L.S. Rathore, director-general of the state India Meteorological Department (IMD), told reporters in New Delhi.<br />
<br />
The IMD forecast a storm surge of 1-2 metres above high tide that could result in flooding of low-lying coastal areas around Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram and Srikakulam.<br />
<br />
<b>TERRIFYING WIND</b><br />
<br />
A Reuters reporter in Vizag said the storm had smashed his hotel's windows and flooded the ground floor. It was difficult even to open the door of his room, he said, as wind rushing through the corridors drove it shut again.<br />
<br />
"I never imagined that a cyclone could be so dangerous and devastating," said one businessman who was staying in the hotel. "The noise it is making would terrify anyone."<br />
<br />
An operations centre in state capital Hyderabad was inundated with calls from people seeking help, including 350 students stranded in a building with no food or water, said K. Hymavathi, a senior disaster management official.<br />
<br />
Vizag port suspended operations on Saturday night, with its head saying that 17 ships which had been in the harbour were moving offshore where they would be less at risk from high seas.<br />
<br />
The city airport was closed and train services suspended.<br />
<br />
The IMD rated Hudhud as a very severe cyclonic storm that could pack gusts of 195 km/h and dump more than 24.5 cm (10 inches) of rain.<br />
<br />
The cyclone was strong enough to have a "high humanitarian impact" on nearly 11 million people, the Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System (GDACS), run by the United Nations and the European Commission, said.<br />
<br />
The evacuation effort was comparable to one preceding Cyclone Phailin, credited with minimising fatalities to 53. When a huge storm hit the same area 15 years ago, 10,000 people died.<br />
<br />
Hudhud was likely to batter a 200-300 km stretch of coastline before losing force as it moves inland, forecasters said.<br />
<br />
According to the IMD, peak wind speeds will drop to 60 km/h by Monday afternoon. Hudhud is expected to continue to dump heavy rains in northern and northeastern India and, eventually, snow when it reaches the Himalayan mountains.</div>

Ready for Round Two? President Obama and Mitt Romney square off Tuesday night in their second debate, this time answering questions posed by undecided voters.<br />
<br />
The town hall-style debate will be held at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. Moderator Candy Crowley of CNN will select the questions from the 80-member audience, who were picked in advance by Gallup.<br />
<br />
USA TODAY will have full coverage on all of its platforms. Check your local listings on where to catch the action, starting at 9 p.m. ET. Our guide to the five things to watch:<br />
<br />
A second chance for Obama: The president said he was too polite in his first face-to-face meeting with Romney, who got a boost in public opinion polls because of his strong debate performance two weeks ago. Obama's advisers promise he will be "aggressive" and "energetic." But if Obama swings too hard in challenging Romney's assertions, will he come off like a bully?<br />
<br />
The wind at Romney's back: The Republican's team says the momentum belongs to Romney after the Oct. 3 debate in Denver. Romney has been practicing the same way he did for the Denver debate, by focusing on what he wants to do if elected and why the time is right for America to change course. Can he build on the gains he has already made?<br />
<br />
The challenge of speaking directly to voters: The people posing the questions want to be persuaded, which means Obama and Romney have to be engaging, empathetic, believable, likable and presidential -- sometimes all at the same time. It's a danger to appear disengaged, as George H.W. Bush did when he looked at his watch in the 1992 town hall debate. Or to get in your opponent's face, as Al Gore did in 2000 when he walked right up to George W. Bush. </div>

In an unprecedented move, Apple India has slashed the prices of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S within a week of lowering their retail prices, say media reports. Industry sources have stated that an Apple spokesperson confirmed the second price cut of the last two iPhones. Moreover, the spokesperson also said iPhone 3GS has been discontinued in India, just like in the global market.<br />
<br />
After the recent price cut, the 8GB model of Apple iPhone 4 will cost Rs 26,500, whereas the 16GB variant of Apple iPhone 4S will be retailed at Rs 38,500. During the price revision of last week, the prices of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S were Rs 28,300 and Rs 41,500.<br />
<br />
The Apple spokesperson also said the company will retail its smartphones through Ingram Micro and Redington in India now onwards, as reported previously. The former will be responsible for distributing the iPhones for large format retails, while the latter will sell the same via regional channels. This is a shift in gears from its earlier strategy of distributing iPhones via Aircel and Airtel, who bundled it with their own data and call packages.<br />
<br />
This means that many cellular operators in India will keep nano sim cards in stock, which are only used in iPhone 5.<br />
<br />
Apple is expected to launch iPhone 5, the fastest selling smartphone ever, in India on October 26. It was earlier reported that the 16GB variant of iPhone 5 will cost around Rs 46,000 to 48,000 in India, while the 32GB model is expected to be rolled out at Rs 51,000 and Rs 53,000. The price of the top end 64GB variant of the latest iPhone is expected to range from Rs 58,000 and Rs 61,000. </div>

Summer’s here and don’t you just hate your hair during this season? Dry, brittle, frizzy with an oily scalp which even your best hair products are struggling with. Well, the sun is to blame for a major part of your woes. Here are a few tips to keep your hair in beautiful this season:<br />
<ul>
<li>Get adequate protection from the sun. Carry an umbrella or wear a scarf when you’re outside. Apply a sunscreen for your hair, if you are able to get it.</li>
<li>Avoid using the blow-dryer and other styling products that use heat as far as possible. If you really need to, condition your hair and apply serum before you do.</li>
<li>Avoid hot showers. Use lukewarm or cold water to wash your hair.</li>
<li>Use a moisturizing shampoo instead of your usual one. If you need to wash hair daily, use a mild daily-use shampoo.</li>
<li>Keep your hair tied in a bun or ponytail whenever possible. Or if you’re adventurous, go for a short, chic style instead.</li>
<li>If you’re going on a vacation in the sun, avoid colouring your hair just before you leave. The UV rays in the summer sun can change your hair colour.</li>
<li>During the summer, pamper your hair with deep conditioning treatments at the salon or at home. Massage your scalp with warm olive or coconut oil for around 10 minutes and then use a towel soaked in warm water to cover your hair.Another home conditioning treatment involves a mixture of curd, eggs and olive oil.</li>
<li>Drink lots of water, tender coconut water and lemonade to keep yourself and your hair hydrated. Eat lots of fresh seasonal fruits and veggies to give your tresses the nutrition they need.</li>
</ul>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
In California, there are plenty of <a href="http://www.metronissanmontclair.com/">Nissan Dealers</a> to choose from. Everyone wants to either buy or sell a car, so this can be very helpful if you are looking around. I know that it can be hard to save money and spend it correctly without getting too caught up in buying random things. When it comes to a car, make sure to really keep a few things in mind. Make sure to really take the time and research the right dealership for you. I must say that I have traveled to quite a lot of dealerships in California, but ones that really stood out to me were Fontana Nissan and Riverside Nissan. Fontana is located in Fontana, California and is ready to sell you your brand new Nissan today! I actually found out about this dealership because of their assorted advertisements not only on television, but also from websites like Yelp and Yahoo. I went to this dealership with a friend of mine when we were both looking for cars, and so decided to check out Fontana used cars as a first try. We were very happy about our find and proceeded to take our business only here and not even check out any other dealerships that may have been in the area. Why spoil a good thing? My friend and I were not too sure of what used car we wanted, but we did know that it had to be affordable. I mean, I guess we should have guessed that as long as we were buying a used car that it would be affordable, but both of us had different price ranges so it was hard to determine exactly what was best to look at. Really the only thing we had in common was that we both liked Nissan, so that is why we went to a Nissan dealership. Fontana offered lots of used cars, including models like a 2010 Nissan Sentra, 2011 Nissan Murano, 2009 Nissan Maxima, 2009 Nissan Altima, 2010 Nissan 370Z, 2008 Nissan Rogue, and the 2011 Nissan Altima Hybrid. I ended up going with the 2010 Nissan Sentra and could not be happier with my decision. In my eyes it's a fantastic car and it has taken me everywhere I need to go without any problems. My friend went with the '09 Nissan Maxima and as far as I am aware, he has not had any problems to date. He actually ended up going with another dealership, Riverside Nissan, but I still prefer Fontana to anything else. Just remember to buy carefully, and really think before you make a large purchase like a new car. California has a lot to offer, but if it's a car that you're looking for, you need not look any further than a Nissan dealership.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
We have been familiar with soy as a source of healthy food. Recently
found evidence that soy protein can reduce the symptoms of liver
disease.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDf-6WmiBqxNlb_Tv-rcCThY5r0mUhxQJhDE1cQe52KwC8ILGtdvkVI1txkZ-DoBdbxSqCKEZnNkILXkng5CCGqLSJXdLlsGk3w4inbKLQOfJGum1D2ldN3qgU-viWAUgLRbELEZjjUaM/s1600/Soy+Protein.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDf-6WmiBqxNlb_Tv-rcCThY5r0mUhxQJhDE1cQe52KwC8ILGtdvkVI1txkZ-DoBdbxSqCKEZnNkILXkng5CCGqLSJXdLlsGk3w4inbKLQOfJGum1D2ldN3qgU-viWAUgLRbELEZjjUaM/s1600/Soy+Protein.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
University of Illinois scientists report that the protein may reduce the
accumulation of fat asses and trigeliserida in the liver that can lead
to the emergence of liver disease, especially in people who are obese.
This is because soy is able to restore some of the key functions of the
organ signaling pathway.<br />
<br />
"Nearly a third of American adults have fatty liver disease, and many of
them without experiencing certain symptoms. Obesity is a key risk
factor for this condition and this can lead to liver failure," said Hong
Chen, assistant professor of food science and nutrition humans at the
University of Illinois as reported from Health24, Wednesday
(25/04/2012).<br />
<br />
In general, fat is metabolized in the liver, but the people who are
obese, fat transport to the tissues can be slowed down so adiposanya
become dumping grounds for excess liver fat, he said.<br />
<br />
"When fat accumulates in an organ that is not supposed to store fat,
such as the liver, the function of vital organs can become dangerous,"
he added. But eating soy protein sources like tofu and soy yogurt seems
to reduce some pressure on the liver fat, he said.<br />
<br />
Chen compared the accumulation of fat in lean rats and rat liver
obesity. The result, Chen did not find any effect of diet on rat liver
thin profile. However, obese rats that were fed soy showed a reduction
in triglycerides and fat accumulation by 20 percent so that Chen
believed that soy protein can be used to reduce the symptoms of fatty
liver disease.<br />
<br />
Furthermore, researchers also found that soy protein partially restored
the protein Wnt signaling pathway as a crucial player in lipid
metabolism.<br />
<br />
"In the obese, there is a traffic problem in the body. When there is
more fat that can make a way out of the heart, pressure on the organs
that could be reduced," he said.<br />

<b>Mitt Romney had his best fundraising month yet in March, but the presumed Republican nominee remained far behind Democratic President Barack Obama in the money game, filings with the Federal Election Commission showed on Friday.</b></div>

<div style="line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6;">Romney reported raising nearly $12.7 million last month, with some $10.1 million left in the bank as he sought to wrap up the nomination and focus on raising money for the costly fight to unseat Obama in the November 6 election.</span></div>
<span id="midArticle_2" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
The deep-pocketed "Super" political action committee, or PAC, that supports Romney, Restore Our Future, brought in $8.7 million in March, with three-quarters of it remaining on hand.</div>
<span id="midArticle_3" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
Democratic PACs have struggled to match the prowess of Restore Our Future, but Obama's campaign - spared the strenuous nominating process - raised $34.8 million in March and had $104 million left in the bank at the end of the month.</div>
<span id="midArticle_4" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
Republicans and Democrats are waging a war to raise as much money as possible to fund crucial television and radio airtime and get-out-the-vote efforts, projected to total $1 billion on each side of the aisle.</div>
<span id="midArticle_5" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
Romney's March haul came at a time when the former Massachusetts governor was still facing stiff competition from his last big conservative challenger, Rick Santorum, who has now dropped out of the race.</div>
<span id="midArticle_6" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
The pro-Obama group Priorities USA - a Super PAC that can raise and spend unlimited funds but cannot coordinate with the campaign - reported raising $2.5 million in March. It spent only a fraction of it, $318,254, and had $5 million left on hand.</div>
<span id="midArticle_7" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
While Romney just started fundraising jointly with the Republican National Committee this month, Obama has been taking full advantage of that option with his party organization, the Democratic National Committee since last year.</div>
<span id="midArticle_8" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
The joint fund greatly increases how much a donor can give to help a candidate, thanks to larger contributions allowed for party organizations in addition to the campaign.</div>
<span id="midArticle_9" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
Obama's two joint funds shared with the DNC had about $6.5 million in cash on hand and sent $7.5 million to the Obama campaign and $10.5 million to the DNC.</div>
<span id="midArticle_10" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
Both the RNC and the DNC plan to spend nearly everything they raise to help their candidates.</div>
<span id="midArticle_11" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
The RNC in March also had its best month, raising $13.7 million and reporting $32.7 million in cash on hand, according to the FEC filings. The DNC reported receiving a total of $17.9 million in March, with $24.4 million in the bank.</div>
<span id="midArticle_12" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
ROMNEY'S SUPER PAC ALLIES</div>
<span id="midArticle_13" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
But donations to outside Democratic groups have lagged those given to Republicans, a source of concern for Democrats.</div>
<span id="midArticle_14" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
Campaigns can take only $2,500 from each donor, once for the primary process and again for the general election. Super PACs can take unlimited donations as long as they do not coordinate with the campaigns, and these have largely taken over the dirty task of negative advertising.</div>
<span id="midArticle_15" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
The pro-Obama Super PAC, Priorities USA Action, has struggled to catch up to the pro-Romney PAC Restore Our Future.</div>
<span id="midArticle_0" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
Restore Our Future on Friday reported raising $8.7 million in March, spent $12.7 million on knocking Santorum out of the race but still emerged with $6.5 million on hand.</div>
<span id="midArticle_1" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
The group's biggest donors last month included Texas billionaire banker Harold Simmons, who gave another $600,000 for a total of $800,000; hedge fund manager Kenneth Griffin of Citadel LLC, who gave $850,000 for a total of $1.1 million; and Huron Carbon LLC, which gave $1 million and shares an address in Florida with Oxbow Carbon, run by Bill Koch and itself a big donor to the Super PAC.</div>
<span id="midArticle_2" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
Other big donors included Charles Schwab Corp founder Charles Schwab and his wife, Helen, Cisco Systems Inc Chairman and Chief Executive John Chambers, New Balance Athletics Chairman James Davis, Marriott International Inc CEO J.W. Marriott Jr. and his brother Richard Marriott, chairman of Host Hotels and Resorts Inc.</div>
<span id="midArticle_3" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
Priorities received $1 million from Amy Goldman, heir to the fortune of New York real estate mogul Sol Goldman, and a second installment of $500,000 from Kareem Ahmed, CEO of California medical billing and collecting firm Landmark Medical Management.</div>
<span id="midArticle_4" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
The PAC also received $250,000 from Anne Earhart, granddaughter of oil baron J. Paul Getty. Earhart is also the top donor to another Democratic Super PAC, opposition research-focused American Bridge.</div>
<span id="midArticle_5" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
Other big donors included U.S. standup comedian and talk show host Chelsea Handler and longtime Democratic donor New York investor Bernard Schwartz, both of whom gave $100,000.</div>
<span id="midArticle_6" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
MORE SUPER PAC HELP</div>
<span id="midArticle_7" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
Helping Romney bridge the gap between his money power and Obama's is American Crossroads, perhaps the most formidable Republican Super PAC, which was co-founded by Karl Rove, former top aide and election strategist for President George W. Bush.</div>
<span id="midArticle_8" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
American Crossroads and its non-profit sister group Crossroads GPS have made plans to spend up to $300 million on this election cycle and by the end of March were two-thirds of the way to raising that sum, having hauled in $99.8 million over 2011 and the first quarter of 2012.</div>
<span id="midArticle_9" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
American Crossroads reported $24.4 million left in cash on hand, but raised only $1.2 million in March. Citadel investor Griffin was its top donor with his $700,000 contribution.</div>
<span id="midArticle_10" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
The non-profit Crossroads GPS is not legally required to report its fundraising or donors to the FEC.</div>
<span id="midArticle_11" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
The groups have been running ads slamming Obama, his policies and his party's congressional candidates. The $300 million plan covers the efforts launched last year into the rest of the cycle, with two-thirds focusing on the presidential race and the rest on Senate and House of Representatives races.</div>
<span id="midArticle_12" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
One of Romney's two rivals left in the Republican race is Texas Representative Ron Paul. His campaign's FEC filing on Friday showed he raised $2.6 million and had $1.8 million left in cash on hand at the end of March.</div>
<span id="midArticle_13" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
The second rival, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, was heavily in debt, running up a $4.3 million tab. He raised $1.7 million and spent about $2 million in March.</div>
<span id="midArticle_14" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
The Super PAC backing Gingrich, Winning Our Future, has been heavily reliant on Las Vegas casino billionaire Sheldon Adelson and his family. In March, despite Gingrich's campaign fading far into Romney's shadow, Adelson's wife, Miriam, gave another $5 million, bringing the total Adelson clan contribution to the Super PAC to $21.5 million.</div>
<span id="midArticle_15" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
Santorum, who ended his campaign on April 10, also had nearly $2 million in debt and has continued to try to raise money to pay for it. He raised almost $5 million in March and spent $5.8 million.</div>
<span id="midArticle_0" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; text-align: -webkit-auto;"></span><br />
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">
The Super PAC backing his candidacy ended the month with less than $270,000 on hand, having spent almost all of the $8.3 million it had raised over the campaign cycle. Foster Friess, Wyoming millionaire investor and Santorum's friend, gave another $500,000 to the PAC in March for a total of $2.1 million.</div>

The fledgling company, called Planetary Resources, will be unveiled at a Tuesday news conference at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, according to a press release issued this week.</div>
<div style="border-bottom-style: none; border-color: initial; border-image: initial; border-left-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-top-style: none; border-width: initial; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 10px; text-align: justify;">
Aside from naming some of the company's high-profile backers, the press release disclosed tantalizingly few details, saying only that the company will combine the sectors of "space exploration and natural resources" in a venture that could add "trillions of dollars to the global GDP." The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that Planetary Resources will explore the feasibility of mining natural resources from asteroids, a decades-old concept.</div>
<div style="border-bottom-style: none; border-color: initial; border-image: initial; border-left-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-top-style: none; border-width: initial; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 10px; text-align: justify;">
"This innovative start-up will create a new industry and a new definition of 'natural resources,'" according to the press release.</div>
<div style="border-bottom-style: none; border-color: initial; border-image: initial; border-left-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-top-style: none; border-width: initial; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 10px; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
</div>

Planetary Resource was co-founded by Eric Anderson, a former NASA Mars mission manager, and Peter Diamandis, the commercial space entrepreneur behind the X-Prize, a competition that offered $10 million to a group that launched a reusable manned spacecraft. Other notable investors include Charles Simonyi, a former top executive at Microsoft, and K. Ram Shriram, a Google director.</div>
<div style="border-bottom-style: none; border-color: initial; border-image: initial; border-left-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-top-style: none; border-width: initial; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 10px; text-align: justify;">
The venture will be the latest foray into the far-flung for Cameron, who dived last month in a mini-submarine to the deepest spot in the Mariana Trench. The plot of his 2009 science fiction blockbuster film, "Avatar," concerned resource mining on alien planets.</div>

<br />
<div class="article-text KonaBody">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A new study suggests that injections of steroids or arthritis
drugs in the spine may not provide much extra relief for people with
chronic back and leg pain due to nerve damage.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM-IG98aDiQXs-TZrsu9E1wTxctOnAmTYe5RLVMo852fiD3FIMVbNE5qJCS5_tEUuy0Pl-3K_BRf8L-x9hXdMlW-wptAZw246M7YiDjpQcHABqTd4SLalID0IWw_yj0jR3lOlZrAeTOq5Z/s1600/Back+Pain.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="223" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM-IG98aDiQXs-TZrsu9E1wTxctOnAmTYe5RLVMo852fiD3FIMVbNE5qJCS5_tEUuy0Pl-3K_BRf8L-x9hXdMlW-wptAZw246M7YiDjpQcHABqTd4SLalID0IWw_yj0jR3lOlZrAeTOq5Z/s400/Back+Pain.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The drug injections also didn't increase the risk of infection and other complications, despite some previous safety concerns.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It's possible, researchers said, that higher doses of steroids or the
anti-arthritis drug etanercept (marketed as Enbrel) may do a better job
of easing pain in this notoriously hard-to-treat group of patients. Or
people might get more pain relief if the shots are given as-needed,
instead of at set intervals.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So the findings can't say definitively whether or not either type of
injection might help some people with nerve-related chronic pain,
researchers report in the Annals of Internal Medicine.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"This kind of pain is very challenging to treat. There's no reliable
treatment that works in everyone," said Dr. Steven Cohen from the Johns
Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, who worked on the
study.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Medications tend not to work very well, he told Reuters Health. And
although surgery may help in the short term, studies haven't found an
effect in people who did or didn't have an operation a couple of years
down the line.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Most people with lower back and leg pain due to nerve damage -- also
known as sciatica -- are treated with epidural steroid injections, Cohen
said. But recently, there's been more interest in injections of
immune-suppressing drugs like etanercept.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"People are looking for something more effective and something safer," he said.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"The findings are disappointing, but by no means is this the end of the story."</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Lack of effect for expensive drugs</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Cohen's study involved 81 people who'd had sciatica for at least a
month. The patients were in their early 40s, on average, and treated at
one of four military medical centers and two civilian hospitals.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Study participants were split into three treatment groups. They were
given two spinal injections, two weeks apart, of the steroid
methylprednisolone, etanercept, or normal salty water, called saline.
Neither the patients themselves nor the doctors treating them knew who
got which type of injection.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
At check-ins one month later, patients' back and leg pain was reduced
by a similar amount, regardless of which treatment they'd received.
Their back pain scores fell by average of one to two points, and leg
pain by two to four points, on a 10-point scale.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
People who had gotten steroid or saline injections reported bigger
improvements in how well they could get around and perform usual
activities compared to those in the etanercept-injection group.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The lack of any significant benefit with etanercept, compared to
normal saline, was "disappointing," according to Cohen. "These drugs are
expensive, and even though they may be safer than steroids, they're not
devoid of risk," he said.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Steroid or etanercept injections cost about $500 to $700 each, Cohen
said. The biggest concern with etanercept is immune system side effects,
he added, while steroids can cause stomach problems and alter blood
sugar levels.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Between one and six patients in each group had side effects related
to the injections, including worsening pain, a rash or infection, but
none were serious.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It's possible that patients treated with regular saline got some
relief because the injection washed out the spine and increased blood
flow to nerve roots, researchers said.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In the end, whether or not patients' sciatica pain improves may be
more up to their own behavior than what type of injections they get, if
any, Cohen added.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"The treatment that has the strongest evidence behind it is actually
exercise programs," he said -- as well as losing weight, for people who
are too heavy.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"It's kind of a long, slow process. People have to have realistic expectations."</div>

<span style="text-align: justify;">This presidential
election tells us something unexpected about American politics. For all
the talk about polarization and discord in Washington, it appears that
both parties will have pragmatic problem-solvers at the top of their
tickets.</span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoHImWCz39PJf7apPYRLZZ0-0e3uGS2JEAYDgo0xTTpT0WwT7RYiR9JNvQUFbLdz9t7O5OurgFIf_7mARB5FSlb4V8vhqtp_h2AOrcxwBGTPEV6sBoxCAMwECeR8ceeBCExZfr7JwNN8OF/s1600/obama-mitt-split-story-top.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoHImWCz39PJf7apPYRLZZ0-0e3uGS2JEAYDgo0xTTpT0WwT7RYiR9JNvQUFbLdz9t7O5OurgFIf_7mARB5FSlb4V8vhqtp_h2AOrcxwBGTPEV6sBoxCAMwECeR8ceeBCExZfr7JwNN8OF/s1600/obama-mitt-split-story-top.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph2" style="text-align: justify;">
Democrats have accepted
four more years with a pragmatist. President Barack Obama has
consistently been willing to anger members of his own party by reaching
out to Republicans and often embracing their issues, such as deficit
reduction. Rather than a fighting for an ideological agenda, he has
instead focused on one problem at a time and accepted the constraints
that he faces.</div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph2" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
Republicans are settling
on former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who has spent much of his
career avoiding ideological purity. By all accounts, one of his virtues
as a leader has been his eagerness to delve into difficult problems and
his willingness to experiment when trying to find solutions.</div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3">
</div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
As everyone knows, he has shifted his positions on matters such as stem cell research and as governor he was willing to put forward an ambitious health care plan that expanded government by using a conservative idea, the individual mandate.</div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
Some pundits will read the decision to support these candidates as continued evidence of party loyalty. In the case of Obama, there were no Democrats who decided that they would challenge him in the primary because they wanted to avoid the kind of turmoil that occurred when Sen. Ted Kennedy ran against President Jimmy Carter from the left in 1980.</div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
In the case of Romney, the Republican hatred of Obama is so great that the party is willing to compromise on a candidate whose politics are hard to pin down but who stands a better chance of winning in November.</div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
Yet another way to read these decisions is that, at some level, voters are genuinely angry about the polarized status quo in Washington. They are willing to support pragmatic problem-solvers because, at some level, they find it appealing to elect politicians who could overcome the deeply dysfunctional government we have.</div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
There is some evidence to support this claim. In "Culture War? The Myth of a Polarized America," Morris Fiorina argued that polarization was much stronger among political elites that it was in the broader electorate. His examination of poll data revealed that on many controversial issues such as abortion or gay rights, most Americans tended to be in the middle of the political landscape.</div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
Second, the approval ratings of Congress also suggest that citizens are unhappy with polarization. Approval ratings for Congress are at about 12.5%, a historic low. When such a large number of Americans indicate that they don't approve of the institution, they are registering their complaints about the gridlock in Congress. Even though most Americans continue to vote for incumbents in their districts, they don't like the institution as a whole.</div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
Finally, for all the talk about polarization, when it comes to electing presidents, voters have tended to go for the people who promise to reach out across the aisle. In 2008, Obama ran as the candidate who appealed to both sides of the political spectrum and who contrasted himself with the fierce partisanship of the Republican side.</div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
In 2000, George W. Bush ran as the compassionate conservative who was willing to use government on behalf of some causes, and in 2004 he avoided some of the more divisive issues by emphasizing national security as his unifying issue.</div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
In 1992, voters went for Bill Clinton, a proud pragmatist who wanted to move beyond the orthodoxies of the 1960s. Clinton was part of the Democratic Leadership Council, a group that sought to move his party toward the center. Clinton doubled down on this theme in 1996 as he leaned to the right following the Republican takeover of Congress, and he defeated Sen. Robert Dole by landslide.</div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
The emerging contest between Romney and Obama thus provides more evidence that there is still room to move beyond Washington's bitter partisan stalemates.</div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3" style="text-align: justify;">
When politicians yell and fight, they capture the attention of the television cameras but the public is not always with them. As this upcoming contest reveals, there is still a yearning in the electorate for a different kind of politics in Washington.</div>

Priyanka Chopra might have hit the bull’s eye with Zanjeer remake, but
it seems her counterparts in the film are not taking it as a good news,
Reportedly, Priyanka has been paid a whopping 9 crore to play the female
lead in the remake. And, this news has peeved people close to the
leading man Ram Charan Teja.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Teja’s people want to make it clear
that he is a bigger name than Priyanka and sources have it that the
actor has been signed for 12 crores for his Bollywood debut.<br />
<br />
Talking
to a daily, a source said, “It is ridiculous to even suggest that PC
will get a price higher than that of Charan's. Charan is getting 10
crore in Andhra Pradesh and has been signed on for 12 cr now for his
Bollywood debut. Whoever is responsible for these stories should do some
serious re-thinking.”<br />
<br />
Interestingly, during the yesteryears,
when the original film was being made, then leading lady of the film,
Jaya (Bhaduri) reportedly received Rs 55,000 to play the role.
Incidentally, Jaya accepted the role only for her 'friend' Amitabh,
since no other actress was ready to star opposite then struggling actor
Amitabh.<br />
<br />
Well, it seems Priyanka wants a handsome fee to work
opposite an actor, who is making his Bollywood debut or perhaps the
actress is keen to get her top position back. Well, only time will tell.</div>
